The exhibition's goal is to showcase the encounter between the modern and the traditional, reviving the beauty of Seoul's traditional clothing and homes, examining the continuity of traditions, and their contemporary expressions. By presenting objects, photographs, interiors, and attire, it offers a glimpse into the life of a city where tradition and contemporary culture coexist stylishly side by side.
The exhibition is open from 18 October 2023 to 18 February 2024.
The Museum of Ethnography in Budapest is an important specialised museum at European level. Now, with the inauguration of its new building in 2022, it has become one of the most modern ethnographic museums in the world.
A Foltvarrás kékben című kiállítás a foltvarrás mint technika, közösség és életforma gazdagságát mutatja be.
A Vágatlanul. Törékeny fényképek valósága című kiállítás az 1910-es évek Magyarországára repít: abba az időbe, amikor a fénykép még üvegre született, és a fotográfusok műtermei egyszerre voltak technikai laborok és életmesék színterei. A tárlat a magyar fotótörténet egy különleges és sebezhető kincséből, a vidéki fényképészműtermek két tonnányi, 25 000 darabos, Néprajzi Múzeumban őrzött üvegnegatív gyűjteményéből válogat.
A jegy az összes időszaki tárlatba érvényes, de nem jogosít fel a Gyűjteményi kiállítás és a Zoom megtekintésére.
A kiállítás az intézmény több mint 150 éve gyarapodó gyűjteményéből építkezik, hogy egyedülálló történeteken keresztül gondolkodjon és gondolkodtasson a múzeum…
